The Zarragon Chess
System has evolved over 26 years into the product you see today. It was
originally developed as "Chess Wizard" for the Micro-Chess Championships in the
early 1980's. We have now decided to market the System because it has become
quite a good player of the game. It can help improve the standard of play for
beginners and experienced players alike. It has different levels of play and
various options for controlling the chess clock timer. The problem database
feature will assist improving positional analysis, and give insights into
positions that can more easily be exploited. Zarragon has the latest
innovations in Chess System design, and at the higher levels is quite
strong.
The Zarragon Chess System has a
current rating of 2390 at level 9 on the www.instantchess.com website under the
name of "Human Robot". This rating is equivalent to a strong Master player, and
is just short of International Master.
